SOLD

SOLD - 1991 Diamondschwarz BMW 318is - $17,500

This e30 318is came to us needing a full overhaul on every mechanical system, but the body and interior were in great condition, making it the perfect recipient for an S50 package we had from a 132k mile 95 M3 that got an S54.

The motor got cleaned and resealed, oil pan conversion, new Stewart Warner water pump and belt drive system. New power steering hydraulic system. AC is not currently complete, but we didn't remove any of the car's systems other than the pump, so it can go back together as desired, pump and bracket included. S52 exhaust manifolds, chipped ECU, brand new keys from BMW.

The suspension and brakes were completely overhauled with Bilsteins and H&R coils, new mounts, restored strut tubes, and all new German replacement parts. Garagistic wiring loom adapter and strut braces, new Porsche 944 brake booster, Ireland Engineering front anti-roll bar, new control arms, tie rods and 95 M3 solid offset CABs, new rear subframe mount bushings, new wheel bearings at all four corners, new parking brake shoes and hardware kit. The power steering hydraulic system is all new except for the pump. It has new motor and transmission mounts, spark plugs, and oxygen sensor.

It has e30 325is black leather Recaro sport seats with all new hydraulic cylinders and a perfect dashboard. The Diamondschwarz paint is decent, but starting to fail on the hood and top. I have cleaned it up and it is presentable but far from perfect. The clear coat on the deck lid spoiler had failed, and the front lip was missing, so I had a new OEM lip and rear spoiler painted to match.

New Sachs clutch, resurfaced flywheel and new hydraulics drive the e36 M3 gearbox, 3.15 OE e30 limited slip differential, rebooted axles and nice looking, no-name BBS knock-off wheels with new Bridgestone Potenza super sport rubber. Exhaust was custom fabbed with a Magnaflow rear muffler and has a great rasp without knocking your eardrum loose.
