SOLD - 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser - $8950

This Land Cruiser is a terrific example of the FJ. It has 292K miles; it runs and drives well and shows no evidence of accidents or rust. It was owned most recently by an FJ enthusiast who took meticulous care of it, and it comes with a large binder of service records, factory tool kit, and shop manual.
The interior is in exceptionally clean condition with third row seating. The original upholstery and headliner are 100% intact, and the dash and door panels are near perfect. Other than rock chips and scratches, the only body damage evident is a ding in the rear lower door that was clumsily patched. There is no sign of collision damage or rust from under the truck. I spent a great deal of time steam-cleaning the engine bay, underside, wheel wells, and suspension. You can see into all the corners and crevices, and there are no crunched or rusty parts anywhere.
Recent service highlights include front axle knuckle seals, complete brake service including rebuilt calipers, pads and rotors, new factory Toyota ignition and door lock cylinders, throttle cable, and complete fluid services. The truck runs and drives perfectly: instant cold starts, smooth idle, plenty of power. It steers and stops like a new vehicle. The 4 wheel drive system functions well, but it does not have the locking differential option. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and positively, and the tires are in great condition with plenty of life left.
I installed a new alarm system with keyless entry. The car comes with new keys and alarm fobs. The original stereo functions, but the little LCD display isn't perfect and the speakers are shot. I cleaned and lubricated the left front power window mechanism and it now works well; the other three doors could use the same service. All other convenience options work as they should, including HVAC and cruise control.
Don't let the mileage throw you, this is a terrific truck with many (s)miles to go! Straight six motors are known for long life, and the history of regular, careful service will keep this vehicle on the road until they take gasoline away from us.
