1974 Blue BMW R90S Euro - $12,000

It's time to thin the herd of Boxers in the shop! Turns out that a dozen is too many to ride each one enough to keep them healthy. We bought this R90S from a 45-year owner and accomplished Airhead tech in Salem, who purchased it in Germany in 1984 and shipped it to Oregon. It is in terrific, well preserved condition and rides well. It is a German market example, wearing paint that was not available in the US. At 62100kms, it is young by Boxer standards. It is surprisingly powerful for a near 50 year old machine; the flat-slide Dell Orto Carbs and bumped compression of the S model are immediately apparent with the throttle wide open.

The bike is in great shape and runs and rides well, but it is not perfect. It has not been over that we can tell, and we seriously doubt it has ever spent a night outside, but it has been ridden. The luggage is in good condition and all features work as they should. It is all stock apart from the Brown's side stand.

We are looking for the right Airhead collector to take over stewardship of this lovely machine. We’re in no hurry to sell, and really want the right person to take it home.
