SOLD - 1999 Silver/Yellow BMW R1100S - $5500

I bought this awesome R1100S from the original owner in San Jose last summer, as an excuse to get out of town when we had that heat wave in July. I flew in to 65 degrees and spent four days riding it up the coast in the cool ocean breeze while Portland roasted.

The original owner had the oil changed and battery replaced in preparation for the sale, and I have since serviced the transmission, final drive and brake fluids. The bike rode beautifully on the way up the coast, and I have only ridden it a few times since then. It has good tires and a full tank of gas; all it needs is plates and a new owner. It has top of the line adjustable Ohlins suspension that cost about $3K, and a beautiful but unknown brand custom rear muffler, otherwise it is a completely stock bike.

Last week I pulled all the bodywork off of it and steam cleaned the bike while naked and polished all the paint while apart. It is now very clean!
